Roots Salon Coronavirus Response
At Roots Salon, the health and well being of our clients and staff is our number one priority. Today, more than ever, we are committed to following the state and industry health guidelines. We have increased our safety measures and implemented operational changes. We will continue to implement coronavirus safety measures to help protect our community during these uncertain times.
All stylists will wear face coverings and we ask you to do the same.
Come On time
Please come at
the time of your appointment. We cannot have
waiting in the lobby.
A stylist will invite you in the Salon when we are available to do so.
Remain at least 6 feet apart from other guests. Each salon chair and shampoo station is appropriately distanced.
We will be keeping frequently used items and areas clean and sanitized.
Guidelines For Keeping Our Community Safe:
1. Wear a face covering
You must wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose for the entirety of your appointment. Please wear a disposable mask to your service as we have found that these are the most ideal for color and haircuts. If you do not bring one to your appointment you will be provided with one for a small service fee.
2. Come alone at the time of your appointment
We unfortunately cannot allow clients to wait in the lobby any further. Therefore, please arrive at your appointment time.
3. Wait outside the Salon
Please remain outside until you are invited in by a stylist in order to keep the total number of individuals in the salon at a minimum.
4. Sign relevant forms
You will be asked to sign both the Liability Waiver and Symptom Screening forms upon entrance. Clean pens will be available for use.
5. Socially Distance
Following the remodel of the salon two and half years ago, the stylists stations in use are 6 feet apart as are the shampoo bowls. As of right now, only two of the three stylists will be working at the same time. Thursdays, from 3pm to 4pm, are the only exception to this modified schedule.
6. Cleanliness and Sanitation
We will be keeping our frequently used items and high traffic areas clean and sanitized to keep you safe.
7. Signs or Symptoms
If you develop any signs of illness 4 days in advance or up until the time of your appointment please call into the salon at 530-668-9144 or contact your stylist directly to reschedule.
Thank you in advance for being in compliance with these new procedures.
