Roots Salon Coronavirus Response
At Roots Salon, the health and well being of our clients and staff is our number one priority. Today, more than ever, we are committed to following the state and industry health guidelines. We have increased our safety measures and implemented operational changes. We will continue to implement coronavirus safety measures to help protect our community during these uncertain times.

Guidelines For Keeping Our Community Safe:
Hours of Operation:
We are appointment only and currently unable to take walk-ins. Appointments are available Monday through Saturday, during the day and evening.
Masks:
We always want our guests to feel comfortable in our space. All stylists are fully vaccinated and will always comply with local and state COVID mandates.

*YOLO COUNTY MANDATES MASKS FOR ALL INDIVIDUALS REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS.
Feeling Sick?
If you are feeling unwell or getting over an illness, please reschedule your appointment. If you are unsure if you are symptomatic for any illness but do not feel well, we ask you to wear a mask in the salon. Our staff is especially susceptible being that we will be in close proximity, within 6 feet, to you throughout your appointment. We are understanding to seasonal allergies and those with respiratory issues that are not related to contagious illnesses.
Sanitation:
Our licenses are governed by the state of California to ensure clean and safe practices, therefore, we have always been held to strict cleaning and sanitizing procedures to prevent cross contamination. While these are procedures are not directly visible to clients additional sanitary procedures have been implemented. These measures include placing clean plastic over each chair between clients as well as stocking hand sanitizer and disposable masks. If the salon provides you with a mask a charge will be added to your service. We will still offer hand sanitizer and will be cleaning regularly as always but you will no longer see the plastic covers on the chairs.
We understand individual clients may have different perspectives on the pandemic and the guidelines pertaining to public safety. We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable in our salon so please be respectful and help us get through this global issue together. Aside from our own personal beliefs as a business and as individuals, we also must adhere to the guidelines. Not just for public safety but to also ensure our doors stay open. We want to continuing offering our services and the care that we provide.

Thank you in advance for being in compliance with these procedures.
